Anyhoo, enough waffle. Our theme this time around is Anything Goes and I have used the super cute Sweetest Surprises…Here is my card:

I had such fun colouring up this cutie and creating the dotty back ground that I didn’t want to add loads of stuff to the card, so I’ve kept it pretty simple.

  • Stamps: Magazine Freebie
  • Dies & Punches: Spellbinders Plain Circle Dies, Nellie Snellen Circle Dies and Tonic Simplicity Doily Border Punch

Precious

Precious (7)

Morning All. So far this week is starting no better than last week finished Sad smile

It started Sunday evening when I was out in the garden watering my plants and vegetable plot. Rushing around I vaguely remember catching my shin on something but thought no more of it and by the time I had a bath later in the evening it was just a little mark the size of a pin head. Anyway all day yesterday my leg felt a bit achy and after I’d done the school run my five year old  said what’s that on your leg Mummy….OMG….big red patch, hot to the touch and my temp started going up and up and up.  Well a trip to the out of hours Dr and looks like I have a big skin infection and now have antibiotics…..on the brightside they should help the sinus infection too!!

Anyhoo, enough of my waffles it’s time for Tiddly Tuesday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog

We have a new challenge and our theme for the next fortnight is Gothic. Now this was a challenge for me as well as I’m usually a cute and fluffy kind of girl. So here is my pretty pretty take on Gothic using the image Precious:

Precious (4)

Supplies:

  • Image: Precious by Tiddly Inks
  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Purple, Blue and Buff Card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Sentiment: From a Woodware Clear Set
  • Ink: Brilliance Starlight Black, Adirondack Eggplant and Memento Paris Dusk
  • Dies & Punches: Fiskars 3in1 Corner Heart Punch and Tonic Delicate Lattice Simplicity Border Punch
  • Embellishments: Viva Pearl Pen, Paper Flowers, Perfect Pearls Mica Powder and wooden corner embellishment

Right Dr’s orders are to rest my leg so as much as two littleuns will allow I am going to put my feet up on the sofa and do some colouring. Might even make a start on my June Create & Learn Classes from Kit & Clowder.

Beautiful Bride

Beautiful Bride (5)

Evening All. The downside to sleeping so much last night and this morning is that I now find myself quite wide awake, but the migraine is almost gone, just a small ache now, thank goodness. So I’m catching up on a couple of things.

Over at Saturated Canary Krista has released some fabulous new images recently and one or two (and one of the bundles) may have slipped into my shopping basket Winking smile

I made this card using Beautiful Bride and had it finished yesterday afternoon but Mr Migraine has delayed me posting until now. I thought I would enter this into the Summer Saturated Canary GDT call over on Facebook.

Beautiful Bride (3)

I’ve gone for quite a clean monochrome look on this one, but I couldn’t resist a little sparkle……but I have a secret…sshh….the papers are from a Christmas Paper Pad!!

I added a pretty sentiment, a bow and a couple of pretty hearts that I was fortunate to receive from my Kit & Clowder card swap partner.

Right, time for some Hot Choccy and then I’m going to try and get to sleep.

Night All and thanks for stopping by.

Anyhoo, back to my post and it’s time for Fabulous Friday again over at Tiddly Inks and I’m sharing a card made using the beautiful image Grace:

Grace (1)

I had a little play with my Inktense Pencils to create the background on this one, I also created the shadow around the image using them but I think I need to use a lighter touch next time.

  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Black Card, Smooth White Bristol Board and Copic X-Press It Blending Card

Anyhoo, enough waffle it’s time for another Digi Stamp Challenge over on the Little Claire Blog and our new theme is Ribbon & Twine

Here is my card using the Boxed Flowers Digi Stamp:

DSC05414

I thought I was try another different card shape for this one otherwise I seem to always be making square ones!

Here is a close up of some of the flowers:

  • Card: Coconut Crush, Green and Blue Card, and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
